Tera was born and raised in Sioux Falls, is a mother of two boys and one girl. She started in home day care over 10 years ago and saw massive opportunity in expansion. Tera and her husband Russell purchased a commercial property and built a child care preschool center. Today, Honey Bee Academy has 135 full-time children and over 30 employees.
Tera turned the business over to her cousin and first employee who now operates the business. She and Russel purchased a new warehouse and showroom in downtown Sioux Falls to bring Garage Living to the South Dakota, and neighbouring cities in Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
Russell Stough was born and raised in Sioux City, IA and moved to Sioux Falls, SD in his sophomore year where he graduated from Roosevelt High School. He has degree in Business Administration and is an accomplished professional with proven ability to develop and implement strategies that support business objectives while achieving high customer satisfaction.
Russell began his career in sales and marketing which now extends to service development, strategy, marketing, business development, and operational aspects of the business to Garage Living Sioux Falls.
Russell has been married for 20 years to Tera and they have three children which are involved in sports and other activities. During his free time, Russell and his family enjoy spending time at Lake Okoboji, boating and just relaxing.
Rick is a native of Sioux Falls, SD. Rick married his high school sweetheart, Andrea, and they have been married for 22 years. They have a son, Chase, who is currently attending South Dakota State University.
Rick has been in the construction industry for 26 years and is a Licensed Contractor for the City of Sioux Falls. From 1992-2007 Rick facilitated millions of dollars of commercial case work, cabinetry, and laminate in the Sioux Falls and surrounding area. From 2007 to today he has applied/installed tens of thousands of square feet of residential and commercial floor coatings and marble shower surrounds in the tri-state region.
During his free time he has enjoyed watching his son play hockey, going camping with friends and many years of driving a sprint car at local tracks.
