Binh Truong is Garage Living’s first Veteran franchisee. Binh, who had enlisted in the Colorado National Guard, was recently called to serve his country and was actively involved in operations fighting ISIS in the Middle East.
During his year-long deployment, Binh’s wife Tu continued raising their four children in Denver and the couple planned the next step in their lives after his service was completed – owning and operating Garage Living of Denver.
Garage Living of Denver is seen as not just a business opportunity for Binh, but an opportunity to support returning Veterans with great jobs. As someone who takes considerable pride in his military service, Binh plans to hire soldiers formerly under his command and run Garage Living of Denver as a business “owned and operated by Vets”.
Binh’s background working in car sales and home improvement contracting, in addition to his love of cars, are a perfect fit for Garage Living of Denver’s mission of creating spectacular garage spaces.
Tu Kim Le was born in Vietnam and came to America at the age of 12. The graduate of the University of Colorado and Westwood College of Technology has earned degrees in Business Administration and Computer Programming, respectively.
Previously, Tu has worked as a senior accountant for Denver-area companies Vetwerx, Inc. and Veracity Credit Consulting. She has also worked as an accountant for the city and county of Denver, as well as the Denver International Airport.
The busy mother of four children is currently CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for Denver sporting goods company Reusch USA, where she handles everything from financials to HR to inventories for the company. Tu’s impressive business acumen will be a major asset in helping Binh and other Veterans with Garage Living of Denver’s day-to-day operations.
