Energetic, motivated, passionate. These are the three words that Nick Richmond says best describe him. And, anyone who knows him would agree! In less than 11 years, Nick has turned his passion for the remodeling industry into a multi-million dollar business with sales expected to soar over $40 million in 2020. With a start-up investment of $3,500, coupled with Nick’s determination and entrepreneurial spirit, Matrix Home Solutions has quickly become one of the nation’s largest home remodeling companies.
Like other successful entrepreneurs, Nick is highly motivated. His start in the industry began with window sales. Within a very short time, he was promoted to sales management and worked for several large home improvement companies before venturing out on his own. He admits that he made mistakes along the way, but was determined to learn from them…and he did.
In an effort to help others in this industry avoid some of he hard, and expensive, lessons he learned, Nick took the reigns of Grosso University in 2019 after his professional mentor, Rick Grosso, asked him to carry on the philosophy of the Grosso name. In his role as Chief Imagination Officer, Nick propelled a small organization that had become stagnant into the country’s largest and most sought after training and consulting group.
During his 30 minutes of free time every week, Nick enjoys basketball, traveling, family time, Rolex watches, and exotic cars.
Nick received the 2013 Fred Case Entrepreneur of the Year Award in honor of achievements within the remodeling industry. He was selected by a panel of judges that evaluated the nominees on business acumen, company financial strength, community and industry involvement, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Brian was the initial investor and Co-Founder of Matrix Home Solutions in 2009 and has been the VP of Production as the organization matured into the 47th largest remodeling contractor in the nation. Brian's integrity, exceptionally high standards and tireless work ethic have allowed him to guide Matrix from humble beginnings in his partners garage in 2009 to a multi-state organization with over 10,000 satisfied customers and projected sales of over $40,000,000 in 2020. Although Brian has moved his focus almost entirely to guiding the production portion of the business, he can still often be found in customer's houses helping them design their dream basements or training and mentoring new designers.
